I am truly a Yooper considering I was born and raised in the small Upper Peninsula town of Calumet. After graduating from high school, I decided I did not want to leave Northern Michigan.
Following my graduation, I attended Gogebic Community College where I received a 2 year degree specifically in Court Reporting. Additionally, I also completed over 3 years worth of credits towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University.
I have been a court reporter throughout Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin for the past 37 years. In 1981, I received my state licensing as well as my national licensing. Later in 1993 I also received my advanced national licensing certification. Rest assured that with Northern Reporters you are getting a true professional who has been in the business a long time.
